Dragonfly (Calopteryx Japonica)

This is the "ao hada tonbow", literally, the blue-skinned dragonfly. Just as I was squeezing the trigger, it stretched it's wings for me. Here's that series.

i love the full spread one that you posted to flickr the most! very beautiful.
one of the interest factors of photography is seeing worlds that we cannot see through ours own eyes. your works are fine example of this kind of excitement. :-D
