Birds of Prey Near Where We Live

These are the most common and plentiful at the moment. Yesterday, these birds were using the strong wind to help them stay in a "holding" pattern while I enjoyed squeezing off many frames.  I shot these along the river, not too far from our home.

Well, river-scape would be more accurate. This is the Imazu, tidal river. These shots are about 500 meters from the Inland Sea, where you can see the sun trying to break through.
