A park attendant said the lack of rain cause most of the Japanese maple leaves to dry before their lovely reds came in. Still it was a fun morning at Miyajima's "Momijidani Park".
In His Grip,

VERY nice set! I even enjoyed the leaf pictures. Awesome crimsons. I miss it... -Vinny
Wow. Isn't the fall amazing? It's hard for me to decide whether I love spring or autumn more. I've always been partial to the fall. There's something to be said about the magic of burst of color right before everything begins to die off. Kind of like the calm before the storm almost. The maple; is that a Flame Maple? These are one of my favorite trees. I also love a Weeping Cherry, Paper Birch, Oak, and a traditional Peach (the blacker the bark the better). I posted the rose garden pictures that I mentioned. I still want to put some more up, but I had to narrow my selection down a bit. I took around 100. I can get a little trigger happy at times. ;)
