I'm sure with rain expected for the next couple of days, the "sakura" will be gone until next year. These were taken in parks near our home. The last one was shot at night.
The cherry blossoms are one of those things that I greatly miss about Iwakuni. There is nothing quite as pretty as walking along the river on a cool spring day watching everyone enjoy friends and family in the presence of those rows of beautiful trees.
We actually have a few of those trees where I'm at here in NC. But, it just can't compare to that. Then again, nostalgia usually wins out. :)
Great pics, Kevin. Btw, you might enjoy checking out my new website. www.headofleslie.com. I put a comic strip up there that I've been doing for some years (and am working on getting it syndicated currently), and my blog is over there as well, among some other things.
